~ Tiponi ~
[/b][/center]
Name: Tiponi
Age: mid 20s
Race: human
Gender: female
Height: bit taller than average (5'8" or so)
RP Color: BlueVioletCompanion: Luminista Physical Appearance & Apparel: willowy build. Hair is dark brown only when the light hits it a vibrant red shines through in streaks with the occasional glint of gold. It hangs to just past her sholders, but is usually worn up in a bun on the back of her head, held in place in rather mysteriously in such a way that flattens the style and shows strippes of red in seemingly random places. Pulled back as it is you can see the hair line comes to a widow's peak in front.
Her eyes are a blue/green depending on her mood and clothing and framed by thick, dark lashes. She has an oval face with high cheekbones from her Native American ancestors and a complexion that leans toward olive. Her nose is neither long nor short. In stead of being cute and kinda sloped it has a bit of a hump in it. Her chin is determined.
Tiponi wears knee-high, low-heeled black boots. Her clothing is a dark plum color. Snug-fitting pants are worn under a dress that comes down just past the knee and is cut, front and back, to about mid-thigh with smallish antique gold buttons up the front. The material of the outfit is one that moves with the wearer never binding and somehow always seems freshly laundered. The sleeves are 3/4 length and artfully engraved golden wristbands encircle each wrist and are about 3" wide though they seem extra thick. The bands are inlaid with another material that is dark and enhances the design. These are her only jewelry.
The material of her clothing is actually an organic, living material most closely resembling a plant. The sweat and such produced by the human body is consumed by the material thus allowing for seeming to be fresh-laundered. Tears would be self mended as the "material" would regenerate.
Magic Type: Water -- She gets flashes of things before they happen, but she doesn't recognize this as magic just something that is. Usually she doesn't even remember the flash until the event happens and she realizes she has seen it before.
Water includes:
- empathy & detection of true feeling/motives
- ability to see/feel auras
- heightened sensory sensitivities
- awareness of subtle energies/magic
- healing/restoring balance
- lucid dreaming
- clairvoyance/premonitions
- receptive to visions, messages
Skills & Abilities: Very skilled in the use of knives, she carries multiple knives on her person although you do not notice them when you look at her for they are tucked away here and there. She has a lovely alto voice and loves to sing.
Shhh. Don't tell anyone, but she likes to cook, too. It matters not if it is over an open fire or in a well equipped kitchen, if she has her pick of ingredients or is making do with the roughest of ingredients; she always turns out a tasty meal.
She is at home in the forest. Surviving out-of-doors is no mystery to her. Her futuristic beginnings provide things like a living blanket much like her clothing and a small mysterious device that creates fire from even wet wood. (Maybe some type of laser?)
Strengths & Weakness: Having no memory of anyone to rely upon, Tiponi relies on herself to get things done-both a strength and a weakness. She has no idea how to establish a relationship. What little contact she has had with her own kind has involved violence, so she has no trust in her fellow man.
Fiercely independent, she is one to get the job done at all cost, but her loyalty has never been tested. While there are things she has found funny (the antics of young animals, for instance) her sense of humor is undeveloped.
Personality: Tiponi is a loner. She is quiet and unassuming and has a problem with trust at least in her fellow man and especially men. She has no memories of interacting in any way with another woman.
Relationships: She doesn't have any. She neither seeks them nor encourages them. She just doesn't know how since in her memories she is always alone or fighting someone (a man) for her survival.

Back Story:Tiponi. Her name means "child of importance," she has always known this but doesn't know how. Her childhood comes to her periodically in vague flashes of memory always with her alone and meeting a challenge. Like the time the bear came into camp. She must have been around ten or so. She was beside the fire preparing a meal when a noise behind her had her turning to look. There at the edge of the trees was a large blonde bear standing on its hind legs stiffing the air. She was afraid. Still squatting she looked up and up and up. The bear seemed to go on forever. Then suddenly she wasn't afraid anymore. Turning back to the fire she dished up some of the stew. The was way more than she could possibly eat herself. Dishing up a portion she carried it over to the bear. and placed it in front of him. "It took you long enough to get here," she said then returned to the fire.
Then there was the time she was walking through the forest alone. Her body showed some signs of maturing, but she couldn't guess her age. All of a sudden a man is upon her, grabbing and pulling. This memory is full of fear. Somehow a knife is in her hand. Then there is blood, but not her own.
She remembers a cool stream and bathing in a deep, calm pool.
There is a city with noise and people everywhere. Lights are flashing. With her other memories this one is strange in its different setting and yet she is not afraid. She is calm. The unfamiliar sights and sounds and activities are interesting, but unexciting. She has reached her full height, but is still young. She is being followed. Lengthing her stride she covers the ground quickly without seeming to rush. The pursuer is just a hint behind her, disappearing when she looks. As much a feeling as a seen presence. She looses the presence without contact.
Now the land looks different, feels different, but is somehow the same. She knows she is in a different place for the plants are not the same and some of the creatures she has seen were of a kind alien to her, but is clueless as to how she came to be here.
For now she is content to be. She wonders in the woods, exploring here and there and becoming familiar with the essence of this new place.
