My thought is they will stumble across her camp. It could be either the group as a whole if you like or Luminista and/or Foehn Miri in a side trip of some sort.

*nods nods* Either or works - just pm me when you have any idea when you'd like to make it happen, just so I don't accidentally choose that exact moment to throw a woolly cave bear at everyone and mess up your plans, lol.

Oh... and you might want to have Lumanista remind mopey ol' Foe that on Kalidore, it's the Mares that get to pick the Stallions.... so really, if she wanted... Odin babies... all she had to do would be join up with his herd Stallions generally stay within their territory (except for on special occasions, like balls, and quests, hehe) Mares are the one who are free to wander as they choose, so choice is entirely on them. Stallions don't pick favorites among mares, and all kors are treated equal, regardless of parentage. On that note, I should probably also mention again that Unikoros are generally not taken seriously by the mares either, and would never be considered "husband" material as they haven't a territory. So the poor boys simply have to content themselves with being friends... ;D

Why do I get the feeling that despite being grossly out numbered, Kalidore can be a rather... frustrating... place for the males of the species?

Because it's truuuuue? Unless one is a male woolly bear. Or possibly a mammoth. Hehe.

MAGIC USERS ~ Roll call, please! If your character is interested in developing their magical abilities, please drop in a post here about what magic type they will be perusing, and which of those magical skills are they most interested in. >A breaking down of the magical types can be found in this thread here<In general, magical power comes upon a companion gradually, and will probably be a little "unstable" at the beginning, hehe. Lady E and I are working on a method to allow your characters to "level up" magically through both RP participation, and a bit of random dice rolling of sorts For now, once we know what interests you, we will start you out with a base level "skill" in this area, which can then be built upon. Also don't rule out random and expected skills just... showing up... along the way If you're not sure *what* kind of magic you want, we always assign you something randomly, lol! Now THAT could be interesting....

Brynja is ready for Earth element., I think it'd be fitting... given what/who she is. As for skills, I'm assuming that you're talking about the little examples beneath the element itself? If so I think that she'd be most interested in (Listing them from most interest to least) : - Can understand the 'desire' of a natural substance, - weather, natural elements - electricity, light - enhance/growth/decay of plant life - tectonics, atmosphere - gravity, magnetism/polarity But, truthfully, I think the first three would have her most interested. ::nods.:: I just figured I'd list the rest just so it was there, in case. Hope that was what you were looking for.

Tiponi is definitely Water no matter how much I might want to make her fire. *deep sigh* She just isn't cooperating on that score! - empathy & detection of true feeling/motives - ability to see/feel auras - heightened sensory sensitivities - awareness of subtle energies/magic - healing/restoring balance - lucid dreaming - clairvoyance/premonitions - receptive to visions, messages I took all you had listed and ordered them (I think) in Tiponi's order of interest/sensitivity, at least as past memories show.

Lana would be an Air affinity.
In order of interest: High Priority: - telepathy/communication
Medium Priority: - telekinesis - visions (real-time) - scrying/far-sight - mind-reading
Low Priority: - astral projection - dream manipulation
No Priority (actually, I think she might balk at these): - thought suggestion - mind control

Allison would be... Fire. Something about illusions draws her in so well and i find it a great element to continue building on with.
In order of most interest: - illusions/wizardry - charisma/proficiency - produces things from other things (ie, fire/heat)
Not really interested in: - metals/compounds/chemicals/alterations - changing and manipulation of said elements - inventing and revisiting

ok - Aislinn is ready to be an earth type mage... listed in an order i just... liked - enhance/growth/decay of plant life - electricity, light - weather, natural elements - gravity, magnetism/polarity - tectonics, atmosphere i felt this order just had a nice growth to it - odd of me i know - but i usually am - so nothing new there and for isandro? air XD ok - again listed in an order i just liked well the first three anyway - mind-reading - telepathy/communication - scrying/far-sight yeah - i was thinking we might start him off just hearing the thoughts of those around him (gaining a wider 'range' as he improves) then moving on to be able to send his own thought back (gaining in clarity as he improves) and then move on scrying/far-sight *nods nods*

*is really unhappy with her writing as of late*
... it's like truly bad clumps of verbosity and exposition are sticking to me like gum on a shoe. Ees not fun! Not sure what it is, but heck if ze durn scenes aren't coming out clunkier than cement shoes. *sigh* Maybe getting back home will put it a'rights. Mebbe.

Poor Del! *snoogles you* Don't fret over it too terribly much. Could be just a bit of burnout, and it will all come back to you in a flood at some later point Do what you can, and if you need help just shout. Though honestly I couldn't tell from what you've written thusly that you're struggling - all sounding quite fine at this end. *huggles again* Well, aside from how Bryn and Liam ended up in the lean-to together. *snerks* But that's more a matter of circumstance then anything else.

As much as i myself would be a water element, i can’t force that onto my characters. They seem to be begging for fire magic. I think the goal is to make jewelry and weapons – mayhap to be the smithy of Kalidore? – and someday be able to infuse them with illusory magic. Of course, the fact that i can usually only post once or twice a week means that will take forever, but hey. Cheri and Alcyone are still young, right? *sheepish grin* I’ll try to post more often. Really.
In order from most interested to least: - metals/compounds/chemicals/alterations - changing and manipulation of said elements - produces things from other things (ie, fire/heat) - inventing and revisiting - illusions/wizardry - near alchemy - charisma/proficiency

Hehe, you're doing great so far, Jade. So no worries! Eet's a very leisurely sort of RP, all in all! And a forge - eeee. Yes indeed, SOMEONE is going to half to provide Bryn with her crazy armor requisites, or the tavern with it's lovely metal steins. *grin* Also - Lady W, yer last post made me snicker something fierce. I do so love Xanthe.

No worries everyone - slow responses are perfectly acceptable to be expected, lol I know *I* have been surprisingly busy with the PI RP, which seems to have me doing more then I do here regularly, lol. (At least, not as much as Del... remind me to divvy up the food booths next time - who knew they'd be so popular? ;D)

Between work and the mini-rp, Del isn't going to have time to reply until the weekend at the earliest, heh. So everyone else should feel super awesome by comparison.

*happy sigh* As much as LOVED our PI RP, I am so glad to get back into this one It's like... curling up with a good book at the end of a long day. (Of course, as fate would have it, I gotta work some crazy hours these next few days, but we'll see what I can manage to get in!) Actually, I think I want to start at the beginning and re-read everything, to get back into the swing of things at our present time on Kalidore, lol. And I should start saving the RP to word files again, to get a head start for myself for when I convert it to the web text; it just makes it so handy to flip through that way, for all the subsequent re-readings ;D Now if only a laptop was more conducive to reading in the bathtub...
