Introducing.... The Urdvoggen of Kalidore: The Urdvoggen is rather homely, brown, medium-sized amphibious animal, about the size of a goose. It lives in the bogs of Kalidore and croaks vivaciously all night long. Loudly. They're also said to smell rather rank, but that could just be due to the habitat of choice. Thus, being called an Urdvoggen is somewhat of an insult, although a rather harmless and childish one at that Plus, screaming "You Urdvoggen!" at someone just feels great ;D

I've got a couple ideas, thought I'd tell 'em really quick. Lets start off with Del's moosey looking critter. I think you could give 'em some horns. Perhaps not moose horns, but maybe deer-like hornds that curl back behind they're ears? Kinda like a rams? So it'd be looking like a nest of brambles? It'd be good protection for the top of thier neck, there. ::nods.:: I don't know if it would work, but it looks like it from here. I thought about a bird of prey, also. What about something like a cockatoo, but instead of feathers it has scales all over it's body, except for it's wings they're feathers intergrated with the scales and flesh. And instead of feathery spines on it's head, it's got more like scaley spines... like a cat fishes? Except... well, more reptilian? (I secretly believe this is what cockatoos -actually- look like. Evil birds. ) Want more bugs preditors? What about a dragonfly/mantis mix? They both eats other buggies. Maybe a lion with bull horns, or something? I think that's the list of my animal ideas for the moment. ::Snicker.:: Annnd.. I still wanna poke the Urdvoggen. >.>

So this is the scribblings of the protoceres I was working on before getting distracted by the Urdvoggen not sure of size, but I'm sure there's a slew of odd-antlered deers running through the mountainous slopes! ((re-sized pictures to make them clickable)) Now, to bed for me. And only midnight - it's early!!!

Hey guess what folks? Kalidore now has tree kangaroos. No, you don't have any choice in the matter, it's simply a case of what's RIGHT and what's not. Yep. Tree kangas. *goes off to coo some more*
