Please take the time to fill out your order form. It is important to be as specific as possible when answering each question, so we can create your mare exactly how you want her. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Enjoy!

We encourage you to include as many images as needed with your form, to clearly explain what you're after, especially if it is an uncommon coat. Please check your form over carefully before submission to ensure everything is correct!

Custom Unicorns are generally completed within 24 hours' of a forums submission, except in the case of a major Kalidore event, which might slow the process down by a day or two. Again, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. We think you're going to love your new herd member!

What is an "Acceptable Name"?
Unicorns are a little picky about their names; they are not people, nor are they horses, so modern human or 'pet horse' names are simply not considerable. (They will, however, make exceptions for being named in someone's honour, as a unicorn's sense of honour is very strong). Since their last contact with earth was in the past, "old names" work, names from literature, history, and lore; they are close to nature and enjoy names of that type; elemental and ethereal names figure strongly too.

Need some help? How about A Thousand Names? Or another 20,000 Names more? Remember - the name you give your unicorn will be hers for life - so choose wisely!

How Pricing Works:

==============

Now that you know what you want, you probably want to figure out how much your dreamhorse is going to cost!  Luckily thanks to our handy build-a-corn chart, you can figure that out on your own.   Do note that since marking templates are NOT used in Kalidore, every pattern or added gene is unique to that unicorn and has been rendered by the artist's hand; this, plus rarity, is why some patterns cost more than others.

1. All Customs start with the base price of $18; this includes a basic dilution, and/or pattern and markings.

2. You may choose to add additional dilutions or patterns, at cost.

3. You may include add Stone bonuses (some of which are inheritable, while others are just for show)

4. You may even change the breed, which are priced based on complexity & rarity.

5.  Add all of these factors up to arrive at your cost; example:

$18 - base = Buckskin Koros

 +2 - plus Silver

 +7 - standard Sikelia

+12 - Mesopippen
