I'm thinking a reread will do me a world of good. Not only to remind me of what's happening for when things get rolling again, but also because now I've had more time to get to know the different characters and their personalities without having to cross reference to remind myself.

Okay, so I'm bored and reading over different stuff kinda at random when I find myself reading through Tyden's profile. It suddenly came to me and struck me as funny in a sad kind of way the expression that would appear on Tiponi's face should she find herself in a situation of suffering at the hands of a stranger only to have Tyden (and I suspect Liam) step between her and the danger. The poor girl would be so confused over a man helping her instead of hurting her she wouldn't know what to think let alone do.

*nibbles before scampering off to work* Yes... must write more in rp... so not let anyone here suffer boredom My apologies for being so slow getting back into it - just needed some decompression time. I will write tonight. Promise! And well, though there are certainly no *strangers* in Kalidore to accost Tiponi - but we could probably arrange a giant horned cavebear; they're ornery. Would that work?? Rescue and all that kind of thing pending, of course

Oh! I wasn't trying to drop any hints or anything. To be honest, I am off to Houston tomorrow and will be mostly out-of-pocket throughout the weekend, so getting really caught up on the rp may have to wait until next week for me. That up there was just a "what if" scenario. Wild animals she finds to be a lot tamer than men. She is able to understand an animal's actions, men she thinks are just out to hurt/use her. Definite possibilities there, too. It just takes out the "why aren't they helping him" question and leaves the "what do they want from me" question. The other could be too graphic to be visiting in this setting anyway. That kind of stranger in Kalidore would have to be eliminated, an obnoxious giant horned cavebear can just be run off. She'll have that whole, "I could have handled it quite well myself," attitude going on afterward. I can't wait! ;D

It's simply more the case that Kalidore kinda lacks people in general, rather then any of a specific type. I don't rule out that more sinister individuals could very well wander in... but I'd have to put my foot down at simply eliminating them on contact. People come to Kalidore for a reason, regardless of dark deeds done in past or present time; after all - the unicorns are there to help.

Ahhh. Good point. Here I am trying to make it some kind of utopia. I like your version better.

Kalidore isn't a TRUE haven until it has a tavern. This I so decree!

*runs around the forum catching up and refreshing brain* hehehe - refreshing brain... it's funny how often i have to do that - and yus - i have had an overly large amount of sugar and not nearly enough sleep today XD not even with my nana nap although utopia's sound nice - i must confess... i like havoc XD doesn't have to be the end of the world type havoc - but the odd horned bear never goes astray and yus - a tavern, a tavern is needed *nods nods* *runs off and goes splat into the door*

Holy buckets, i feel like such a heel. I literally forgot about the whole rp until tonight. It's been a pretty terrible week. I've caught up on the reading, but my head is too scrambled to make any sort of coherent post. I swear i'll do it first thing after work tomorrow. For now i think i'll sleep on it...

*snoogles and offers cocoa* That's quite alright Really, stuff has only started happening again in the last few days. We were all a little wiped from the mini rp, lol. So have good long sleep and nibble us when you're feeling up to it. We'll still be here, I promise - we wouldn't leave with ya!

Durn straight, I don't see us actually LEAVING until probably next week at the earliest. Right now it's more a matter of rallying the troups. And even if Cheri decided to have a bit of a lie in, hehe, it's not like we couldn't steal her later <3 Anyways - seriously, no worries! I totally get having a killer week - they happen! And it's best to take it a bit slow after. Hehe.

Grrr! Redoing my character profile post. I erased what I had written for Luminista and Foehn Miri before copy/pasting somewhere else. Of course you can never get it right when you try to reproduce something. Result: Tien Mu has a better character profile than the other two. *deep sigh* Maybe tomorrow my creative juices will be flowing a bit better.

I've been in a creative slump for a couple months, but it seems this rp (and the mini rp) has finally kick-started my right brain. I'm drawing again, writing, day-dreaming... i've even started a painting series. Series! I'm too flighty for a whole series (even a small one of four, as this is), but here it is, i'm really doing it. I know the fact that winter is slowly creeping away probably helps (i'm a S.A.D. panda) but i think you guyses help, too.
So thanks ya'll, for being welcoming, mature, talented, inspiring and above all friendly peeps that i can look forward to "seeing."

I need to re-read everything, too. I keep STARTING to post.... >_<
Just want to apologise for my not posting for a while. In part it's because no-one posted during the mini rp, but it's also because it's a rough month - Monday marks the one year of my papa dying, so it's a bit of a rocky time. >_< I'll be better soon, and resume regular posting! Liria and my twins won't let me forget them :-P
...when I do finish my post, it's going to be monster T_T

Eeeee I'm so glad to hear that, Jade! There couldn't be a huger compliment about Kalidore then reading that In truth, I was exactly the same way when I began working on Kalidore - blocked and stumbling, and pretty much loosing confidence in my ability to be to creative. And... it just... changed. Everything opened, and Kalidore grew.... it all began to flow and bubble brightly into everything else I did, too I am so happy it helped you to find that too.... 'tis all rather magical, isn't it, lol ;D And no worries, Zeph - we will be looking forward to that epic post whenever it arrives! *huggles*

Kalidore definitely continues to keep my creative Muse awake. Which is awesome. Am ... SO VERY HAPPY I found y'all, haha. Y'alls and Kalidore's ability to keep the dreary monotony of the every-day at bay is muuuuuuuuuuch appreciated. <3 *snuzzles contentedly into a small warm corner of the world*

Okays.. I'm a little confused on whats progressing. Are a few fo the wolves tagging along? I became a bit lost (cause my amazingly thick skull) after everyone started moving again <<
Sorry about that!

Oops. Sorry, Silent! Yeah, I kind of jump-started us moving again in that monster post of mine; since nobody was really interacting with the wolves, figured it was wiser just to move past them and carry on But you are correct though, currently the group has started moving again (at least, Odin has started walking, and a few people are following, lol) And yes, a few of the wolves are tagging along, to escort us safely through the forest.

Is there any problem with the dust-colored wolf being one of the ones accompanying the group? I am working on my post and I have Luminista interacting with him. Also, would I take care of all the dialogue or only what my girls have to say?

Yes, yes! Please do, lol! INTERACT!! As I said in the forums, EVERYTHING is interactive, so feel free to touch the scenery and get down and dirty The more you explore, the more you'll discover. If you're ever unsure about something, just ask - that's what we're here for. And try not to worry about if something is "okay for the plot" - because honestly, while I certainly a very lovely master plot, I thrive on spontaneity and side adventures; just make sure said idea is Kalidore-probable; a quick note pinged my way is all you need. If you have a blossoming idea or something you'd like to try, remember that I am always MORE then happy to work it in, to help you and your characters grow
