... and always had a secret desire to take Falling Star home to your stables... well, here is your chance ;D Grab that golden apple you've been booting around since the last UFO dropped it on you, and search for "Stars Fall over Kalidore"Hmm. I can't figure out how to link specifically to his page, but you can find him under my created coats here - (it's at the bottom, near the breeding farms) www.howrse.com/joueur/fiche/?id=98093Anyways, I hope he'll be much enjoyed Lady Whimsy ~

So, I made an account a couple days ago, to prod around. And like... I'm -so- lost. I'm really not sure how to do much of anything, really. However, I do know that my horse is losing most of it's health, because I "fed it too much" and it's "not getting enough rest" >:{ Both of which confound me because I've been feeding it less and putting it to bed for the past three days! ::huff.::
And I donno how to find him(falling star), by the way. ::snicker.::

What's your username, Varuna? I'll drop in on your horse and see if I can give you any pointers Feeding depends on how much work you do, and age of your horse. (You'll see that the more energy he's used, the more grains he requires) And keep an eye on how much grass he eats out in the pasture - it's very easy for them to get fat out there, lol. If I have a really chubby horse I'll only put him in the pasture for a couple hours in the morning to get his moral & energy up (most horses consume about 5 pounds in that time, depending on the meadow's fertility), then nothing else for the rest of the day (so a lot of box time, if I've finished training him . As for sleep, make sure you put them to bed by 22:00. And, to find Falling Star, look up me, Raventyde Unless I find you first

I had an account on there for a while - but, since I was already firmly addicted to another (rather more serious) horse-sim* I didn't have the time for both. And since the other one has more genetics, I went with it.
I think I finally got an e-mail about my account getting deleted the other day - guess my poor lil' palomino tobi and her baby have dissolved into the internet ether now. Poor lil' things.

* Although, in all fairness, how serious can a horse-sim really be?! I find it amusing every so often when someone who isn't used to the game wanders in, and people explain to'em how serious it is. *giggle* But yes - serious. Truly. Bwahahaha.

Ahh.. www.showhorse.com It's really a pay to play site (they have a "trial" account, but it doesn't allow breeding etc.) It's a constantly changing site, as it has several features still in development (polo & cutting shows, staff training etc.) - but the breeding and color genetics are fairly solid now, as is the primary show type (Halter in Hand). It takes a little getting used to, it's a fair bit more numbers and strategizing then Howrse, but I rather like it. If you end up playing, feel free to send me a PM or whatnot, I've a good foothold in the 5 breeds they have available on there, although my favorites are definitely the Arabians & Paints. My main account on there is "Del Fleur". - Del
